Yeah it was a FreeAgent drive :( I'm bummed, but oh well.

You're right. All you hear these days is talk about the pressures of blogging. There was that article in the NYTimes maybe a month ago that talked about bloggers who are predicted to die earlier because of stress and anxiety.

It's interesting that you mention twitter because I have a RL non-social media type friend who is on there and she has a private account. She uses it very differently than I do. She uses it as a blog.

According to her, "I can never update a blog regularly, but I can post at least one tweet a day. If I go through my archives, I essentially have some sort of record of at least one thought or activity I've had every day for the past year." Interesting.

"Blog CPR" - a lot of folks could use that! I read more and more bloggers discussing coping with the "pressure of blogging". My blogs need some CPR, haven't been keeping up since I discovered Twitter!

Did you get one of the FreeAgent drives? That's too bad about your blog archive! The 350/500GB drives have had a lot of problems. Fry's had a great deal on them & I bought a 350 without looking on the web first.

That's something I hardly ever do, but then Seagate is usually the best brand. I haven't used mine very much yet, but I better make sure it's not my only backup.
