@Paul - Trubie. I love that! I'm gonna use it all the time now to describe social media makers like yourself who produce content with heart.

@Bob - Thanks, Bob. I read through some of your posts and wow, you have some really thought-provoking content on there. Oh, and really great photographs too (I'm a photo hobbyist who always has a camera with me).

The excel file was generated through old fashioned data-entry. I literally typed every single one of Chris' post titles into individual cells. I found that it was faster for me to type than to actually switch windows and copy and paste. The hyperlinks I copied though.

I set up the following columns: Post Title, Date, Keywords, #of Comments, Hyperlink, Notes

There are very few blogs I could do this with. There are very few bloggers I would do this for. Chris is the man.

What a great post, Alexa. I completely agree. I started blogging just over a year ago to express my passion for life, and especially to practice what I believe - that life is better when we are aware, when we reflect and when we create.
I feel that blogging stimulates all three of those things in me - makes me more aware, encourages me to reflect and fires up my creativity.
By the way, I was interested in your mention of making an excel file of chris's posts - how did you do that? Is that easy? At the end of my first year of blogging I used blurb.com to make a large format hardback copy of my blog - can't tell you just how PLEASED I am with it! I recommend doing something like that even if you don't use a service like blurb (though their "blogslurp" software made the whole process such a delight!)
I'm glad you're blog is off an running again!

You're totally right, Alexa. I have spent the last week locked into these twitterish, powncey places, and have read Chris religiously. I'm really a writer, avoiding my third novel, as well as a blogger. Neither role pays the bills, I do it purely because true writers must. You're a trubie for sure - keep going!
